Care guide

Look after your jewellery & it will love you back.

Each piece is handmade from resin & various types of metal which are explained in each listing, & a little care keeps it looking its best for years. None of this is fussy - mostly it's about keeping your jewellery away from the few things it doesn't get on with.

The everyday stuff

Take your jewellery off before you shower, swim or wash up. Just because some of the rubbish has been pulled out of rivers & canals, doesn't mean they want another soaking. Soap & prolonged water get behind the settings & dull the resin over time.

Put your jewellery on last, once your perfume, hairspray, suncream & hand sanitiser are already on. Those can cloud the resin and tarnish metals.

Keep it out of strong, direct sunlight & away from heat when you're not wearing it - a sunny windowsill over months can give resin a faint yellow tint. A little box or pouch, with pieces kept apart so they don't scratch each other, is ideal.

Cleaning

Wipe charms with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth. Please don't use abrasive cleaners or jewellery dips - they're too harsh for resin.

Use the provided polishing cloth on silver & gold where needed, silver in particular may tarnish a little with time, which is normal; the cloth will easily bring the shine back. With the gold-filled pieces, keeping them away from harsh chemicals helps protect the gold layer.

Both stainless steel & titanium can be cleaned with mild soapy water but as they have resin charms attached, just use the provided polishing cloth if needed.
